FPAN completed two-day orientation and interactive discussion on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE): policy advocacy and strategy planning training workshop on 26 and 27 December 2024. The program was funded by Australian AID through UNFPA Nepal and was organized in coordination with Centre for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).

The training was aimed to enhance understanding of CSE principles, components, and benefits among all participants, to facilitate meaningful dialogue on policy advocacy and the roles of stakeholders in advancing CSE programs, to develop actionable strategies to integrate and strengthen CSE at both institutional and policy levels, and to foster a collaborative network of advocates committed to championing CSE initiatives. This training brought together diverse participants, including government officials from Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), MoEST, Ministry of Women and Children, National News Agency, Health Journalists, and representatives from Private Boarding Association of Nepal (PABSON) and NPABSON, MUAN, and Teacher's Federation to collaborate on strategies for strengthening CSE implementation across the country.
